My interest in textiles and fashion began at an early age with doll dresses made from the scraps of Mother’s dressmaking.  After receiving a degree in textiles and clothing I worked in various textile related areas: sewing models for pattern companies, altering bridal gowns, constructing boutique items, weaving and sewing for a production weaving business.

Now retired I weave for my own pleasure.  I enjoy exploring different weaving and dying techniques, working with various fibers and creating whimsical woven characters.
